Dear Chris & Nick,
I just received your latest publication and I want to let you both know it is the best. Great job! I am enclosing my membership renewal and the adoption funds for the Sawtooth Pack members. My original adoption of Motomo was in 1993, and Wahots in 1996.I would appreciate more information on the Weyekin Trail Project. This is a perfect way to pay tribute to all of the Sawtooth Members. In closing, I just want to say thank you all for the care and love given to each of the wolves.
Sincerely,
Elaine A. Dowda
Just received the spring 2007 issue of Sawtooth Legacy and was horrified to read of the attitude about wolves in Idaho and Wyoming. One of my retirement jobs is volunteering at the Seney National Wildlife Refuge in the UP of Michigan and I and the other volunteers at the visitors center are always delighted and thrilled when we hear of a wolf sighting. I have only seen a wolf twice and each time it was a big "WOW" for me. At last count [Michigan] had about 220 some wolves in the UP and they are in every county.
Hope the enclosed check will help in educating people and maybe change some attitudes.
Sincerely,
Robert Trautman

Dear Wolf Education & Research Center:
Our class wants to support the Sawtooth Pack of the Nez Perce. My name is Chris and I go to school in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. Our class raised money selling books at a used book sale. We decided to send you some of the money to help protect the wolves.
Sincerely,
Chris

Dear Randy and Trey:
Thank you so much for the terrific time we spent at the Wolf Research Center. There is so much to offer, I was terribly sorry we didn't schedule a longer time. Hopefully you can continue your program and we can return for a longer visit.
The handouts you provided are excellent and the studends are really enjoying [them]. In fact, we are currently working on an interactive poster assignment where they can choose a topic about nature. You would be pleased to se how many students have chosen wolves and are using the handouts for their information.
You are doing a great job, thanks again.
Yours truly,
Jan Jacobs

Dear Mr. Anderson,
I have been a supporter of the WERC for some time and have had the pleasure of visiting your facility in the early 90's. Nick and Randy could not have been more gracious to my sister and I and they gave us the unbelievable exprerience of getting up close and personal with the pack. At the time of our visit, I was sponsoring the beautiful Amani, and had sponsored him for many years prior to my visit. At the time we cam out, he was currently the Alpha wolf, so it was especially eventful for me. I cried when he passed. I recently received the Sawtooth Legacy Quarterly and wanted to tell you what a beautiful publication it is. It makes me proud to support WERC. The staff are so incredibly dedicated and I wish you years and years of success.
